Here’s what we can tell you about how we work:
Because we have fun but get things done! Joking aside, you truly will have to follow your gut to see if we are the right wedding planning team for you. We can tell you to check our reviews and our work but ultimately it comes down to, do you trust us and is our approach aligned with your expectations of a wedding planner?
We believe in transparency from start to finish, even if it’s not always what you want to hear (hellllllooo realistic budget discussion). We believe in providing you with all of the information that you need to make the right decision for YOU, and to keep you on track along the way.
Our approach to planning is to marry (no pun intended) the process and the pretty. A GREAT wedding is one where the process (logistics, planning, timing, sound, flow, etc.) work in unison and at an equally important level as the pretty (the aesthetics of the day) - combining these two is where we excel.
We believe in quality over quantity and have dedicated ourselves to only producing 5-8 weddings per year, meaning that we are fully invested and available to the couples that we serve.
Respect is a core value. For you, for us, your family, your guests and all of the vendor partners that we work with.
We believe that our role can be both… professional yet lighthearted. We’re always down for a laugh, a glass of bubbly and a personal conversation before we get into the nitty gritty of planning.
Our design style is contemporary luxury with a nod to tradition. Details matter, as does quality. We are sophisticated in design but strategic yet FUN in execution.
So if this sounds great to you then you SHOULD hire us. If it doesn’t, then truthfully… you probably shouldn’t.
This varies from wedding to wedding, depending on a large variety of factors, however the average time that we spend with our couples is 9 to 15 months. Because we are a boutique wedding planning firm, meaning that we take on a limited number of weddings per year, we recommend securing your spot with us 12-18 months in advance. Once our spots are filled, we close our books for that year.
We currently do not offer Wedding Day / Month-of Coordination, only. If you are interested in Design + Coordination, please get in touch and we are happy to customize something under our “Customized Completion” service.
Heck yes, we do!!! We believe that all of life’s milestones are worth celebrating and deserving of special attention. Our team can assist with planning, designing and coordinating events of all sizes for any reason important to you.
Among others, our Social Event Planning Services are available to help plan and execute the following events -
Our service fees are customized and determined by a large number of variables. While, without a consultation, we cannot tell you exactly what your investment with us would be, what we can share is that the average couple spends $11,000 - $18,000 with us.
Rather than discussing the wedding cost as a whole, we prefer to look at wedding investments on a per guest basis. The weddings you see on our website and Instagram, on average, range from $500 to $1200 per guest; this is all in, meaning it factors in venue, catering, photography, design, etc. So, consider your guest list very carefully.
We have spent many years building genuine relationships with top wedding professionals and venues in Edmonton and beyond. While we do not “negotiate” in a traditional sense, these relationships have established a lot of mutual trust and therefore often come with preferred pricing, all that we pass on directly to our clients.
We sure do! We have planned weddings in the beautiful Rocky Mountains including Banff, Jasper and Rocky Mountain House, and are available for weddings anywhere in Canada and beyond. Our bags are packed, our network is wide and we’re ready!
Hiring a wedding planner is a big investment and leap of trust. It is someone that you will spend a lot of time with, so clicking the way you would with a friend is important. Interview several wedding planners. Ask to see their process. Look at reviews. Understand what the contingency plan is if they cannot be there on your wedding day (we hate to go there but life and accidents do happen). Make sure that the work they showcase is truly theirs and most of all, follow your gut. Trust us when we say, your wedding planner is NOT a place to save. Hire a professional you TRUST and know that the rest of the pieces, including financial investment, will fall into place accordingly.
