Founded in 2015, Sandra Bettina Weddings & Events is a boutique wedding planning firm specializing in weddings that embody contemporary luxury with a touch of tradition. With a focus on timeless and personal weddings, we customize and curate elegant weddings for couples in Edmonton, the Rocky Mountains and beyond.
We believe in honouring a couple’s vision while providing expert advice and catering to each client’s unique wishes and needs, personality and style. Most importantly, we know how to throw an incredible party!

Armed with a love of weddings, Sandra launched SBWE in 2015 combining her passion for creativity and business. She is a Certified Wedding Coordinator through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC) , a Certified Wedding & Event Designer (CWED) and a Bachelor of Commerce graduate from the University of Alberta School of Business. Known for a strong eye for detail and light hearted approach, Sandra makes wedding planning a process to look forward to. With years of experience producing events and working in the high-paced corporate world, Sandra brings professionalism, extensive organization, and fun to each event that she touches.
She is considered an expert in the field as exemplified by many work publication features and contributions to press such as CTV, CBC, St.Albert Gazette & T8N Magazine on various wedding industry topics.
When she is not working, Sandra spends her time with her husband Tim & two daughters, Ariana and Maya!

After meeting in a new moms group when their daughters were just a few weeks old (fun fact, they are only 1 week apart and share almost the same name – Ariana & Alianna), Jill shared her earlier dream of being a wedding planner with Sandra. Soon after, she excitedly joined the team and has been an important part of the SBWE family since 2017. She is now also the Manager at Xo & Mane Boutique. Jill is a Certified Wedding Coordinator (WPICC) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. In addition to her work experience with SBWE, she also has a lengthy background working in the finance world, a skillset that rounds out our creative team successfully.
Jill spends her days off with her husband whom she met when they were children at their families’ cabins where they were neighbours. Today they share their love of downhill and water skiing with their own daughters at the same place where they both learned as kids. A true full-circle moment!

As a trained graphic design graduate from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Taryn loves designing customized wedding day stationery that is a personal reflection of the couple. Her favourite part of her job is that every wedding has a different vibe and story, and that truly, no two are alike.
When she is not designing, you can always find her hanging out with friends or finding new coffee spots around Edmonton.
